The first gin from OakVilla in Norfolk. Vryheid is Afrikaans for Freedom, and celebrates both Norfolk and South Africa – the family behind the gin came to Wymondham, Norfolk from South Africa in 2007. Vryheid contains locally picked poppies and elderflower from the Norfolk area, alongside sweet lemon rind, pink and black pepper, oak and orange blossom honey.

Tasting notes
Nose : A symphony of calming, fruity yet elusive florals, followed by the merest trace of caramel and a hint of Juniper underpinned by nutty-peppery tones.
Palate : A delightfully harmonious balanced dance of fruity and floral notes rounding out into warming earthy nuttiness with a tingling spiciness deep in the throat.
Finish : A shimmering combination of florals, fruits, spice, gentle warmth and subtle sweetness leaving only a longing for more.
